Bike Mechanic / MTB Tour Guide - Cairns
We're currently looking for a full time Bike Mechanic/Tour Guide
Located at Palm Cove, halfway between Cairns & Port Douglas, our small beachside bike shop is seeking the experience of an experienced bike mechanic / MTB tour guide.
The role is a Full Time position, working weekends as required, for a person with 2+ years mechanical experience. You must be a keen MTB rider who is looking to mix their passion of riding with work.
The Role will include:
MTB Tour guiding,
Operations and Administration for both the service centre as well as our tours.
Servicing and Building of Bikes, this will include all genre of bikes, MTB, Road, E-bikes etc.
We require you to hold a first aid certificate (can be obtained after employment) and a current drivers licence.
Applicants who have Certificate III or IV in Guiding, or PMBIA Level 1 Mountain Bike Instructor will be considered favourably however we encourage all to apply as we will give the right person the opportunity to obtain training in this field.
You must enjoy the quiet life, as Cairns is a pretty slow chilled out place, put a beautiful paradise of both riding and relaxing.
Renumeration will be discussed dependent on experience.
